Description:
Allows digital pictures to be taken through the 10x32 WB EL binoculars.
Swarovski Optik's "Snap Shot Adapter" forms the link between a binocular and a
digital camera resulting in clearly focussed snapshots at long range. Perfect
for nature observation and long distance photography.
Until now it has only been possible to take digital photographs of what is
observed through binoculars with either a lot of time or a lot of luck. Now all
that has changed. The "Snap Shot Adapter", developed by Swarovski Optik, is an
ergonomic and sophisticated little ring which turns the binocular into an
objective lens. Using this "trick" it is possible to capture, in extraordinary
pinpoint detail and over huge distances, moments which would otherwise be
irretrievably lost.
All that is necessary for long-distance snapshots, in addition to the
appropriate "Snap Shot Adapter", is a Swarovski EL or SLC binocular and a
digital camera with an extendable optical zoom. Setting up requires just a few
small movements the "Snap Shot Adapter" is centred on the camera's extended
lens by turning the control disk and is then pushed onto the binoculars'
twist-in eyecup, which has been twisted out to receive it.
What happens next is fast and smooth. All you have to do is simply hold the
camera to the adapter. Using a supporting surface or a tripod makes for even
sharper and more precise photos. As the "Snap Shot Adapter" is designed as a
centring aid and not as a holding device, you can switch rapidly and flexibly
between observing and taking photos although it is essential that you always
have the camera's handle looped around your wrist for safety
