Dedicated Effect Button
The S1050's dedicated Effect button lets users quickly access a host of powerful
in-camera image effects, including conversion to sepia-tone, black-and-white and
RGB color effects. Images can be trimmed, resized, and rotated in the camera
without the use of a PC and a built-in microphone allows a 10-second voice memo
to be attached to any still image. Slide Show automatically scrolls through
photos and displays them on the bright and vivid 3.0" TFT LCD screen.
10.1 Mega Pixels, Optical 5x Zoom
The Samsung S1050 is a high resolution
digital camera that is equipped with a true-color filtered 10.1 mega-pixel CCD.
This allows the Samsung S1050 to produce even better images and take detailed
photos for printing up to poster size. In addition, the Samsung S1050 has an
optical 5x and digital 5x zoom giving 25x total zoom when combined.
3.0 large LCD screen
The Samsung S1050 has a 3.0 large LCD for
improved contrast and color reproduction, allowing you to enjoy a wider and

Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR)
The ASR technology prevents the degradation of
image clarity and color common to flash photography. With ASR the effects of
camera shake are reduced in low light conditions. You can even take well
exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all. It
guarantees brighter and more natural pictures.
High sensitivity ISO 1600
The Samsung S1050 has an auto sensitivity
feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity according to the ambient exposure
conditions up to ISO 1600. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you
to take clearer indoor pictures in poor light without camera shake or image
blur.
Face Recognition AF & AE
Face recognition technology supports more
beautiful portrait picture taking. This function automatically recognize the
face of a subject and optimize focus and brightness in shooting.
1cm Macro & Auto Macro
Macros available up to 1cm. When set to
Auto Macro Mode, the Samsung S1050 automatically adjusts the shooting distance
and focus from between 10cm to infinity, helping you to take pictures more
easily.
Powerful manual functions
The powerful manual function support
enables you to express your image intentions according to the subject. For the
convenient A Mode and S Mode functions, you can change mode easily by operating
the left/right button (shutter speed priority) and up/down button (aperture
priority) of the 5-directional button. When using the camera in M Mode, even a
novice photographer can easily use the manual functions with the optimum
exposure display at the bottom of the LCD.
Wise Shot
This clever feature allows you to choose the best
picture by taking 2 shots simultaneously - one using ASR and one using a flash.

Samsung S1050 delivers a camcorder like experience. For a more enhanced movie

traditional video formats used in many other digital cameras. With powerful
video recording in SVGA (quality 800x600) at 20fps, it provides a wider screen

Movie Stabilizer
