The Leica Z2X is a high-quality 35mm zoom compact camera that allows
you to get the shot you need in almost any situation. The date back allows you
to imprint the date and/or time right on the image for your convenience. The Z2X
(Z stands for "zoom" and 2X stands for "double focal length range") boasts a
fully automatic exposure control and focus system that ensures well-balanced
exposures with maximum ease. It also has a manual override for more creative
shooting. The flash activates automatically in low light or can be turned off
altogether.
The outstanding Leica Vario-Elmar 35-70mm zoom lens uses optical glass of the
highest quality. Special coatings on the lens surface, combined with the best
glass, are designed to capture true color as well as super-sharp, high-contrast
images. The zoom has three settings- -35mm, 50mm, and 70mm--which covers most of
the usual photographic scenes such as landscapes, parties, and portraits. A
self-timer is included with a front flashing light countdown of approximately 10
seconds.
