the first time ever, the Digimax L85 helps you to share your valuable memories
with other family members through pictures. High Definition Multimedia Interface
(HDMI) function lets you view an image on a large HDTV (High Definition
Television) screen without compromising its resolution and delivers a vivid
impression of your past memories. Furthermore, with its remote control, you can
view images on a HDTV more easily and simply. Optional cradle & cable required
VGA Easy direct printing Function
The Digimax L85 print button makes direct printing easier than ever. Simply
connect the Digimax L85 to any PictBridge compatible photo printer, press the
illuminated print button and print! Also use the button to transfer images
directly to a computer.
Variable Modes
- Manual Mode: With the manual mode, you can adjust the camera's
setting according to the lighting conditions and desired photographic effect.
Adjust the exposure and aperture as required to obtain professional results.
- Wide Mode: The Digimax L85 provides full manual capabilities and
supports wide mode during shooting, you can view on a 16 : 9 wide screen
beyond the conventional picture size of 4 : 3.
- Motion Capture Mode: The high-speed continuous shooting function
makes it possible to see 30 extremely high-resolution pictures from one
sequence. Analyse your golf swing, photograph a race car passing by, or study
other sequences of motion.
Powerful functions
- Advanced Movie function: The powerful video capability of the
Digimax L85 delivers a "camcorder like" experience. For a more enhanced movie
shooting experience, the Digimax L85 uses MPEG-4, the high-compression
high-quality video format, which can record for up to 3-4 times longer than
the traditional video formats used in many other digital cameras. With
powerful video recording in VGA(640X480)at 30fps, it provides a wider screen
view and clearer video quality. These movies can even be viewed on the
HDTV(High Definition Television). Furthermore, through the video capabilities
featured in the Digimax L85, including image stabilization, continuous
shooting and creating / self-editing of a video still image (JPEG), any moment

- Macro(Auto / Super): When it is set to Auto Mode, the Digimax L85
automatically adjusts the shooting distance and focus from between 10cm to
infinity, helping the picture taker to get better pictures more easily. The
user does not need to activate the macro function separately in order to take
pictures as close as 3.94 inches.
- Special Effects available: Use the Effect button to access various
photo effects directly. The Digimax L85 has some innovative special effect
functions - including Highlight, Photo Frame, and Composite Shot - that give
you unique,and sometimes amusing, shooting experiences beyond conventional
picture-taking. You can access each of these special effects with just one
touch of the "E" button.
