The AT-FH800 series of manageable and stackable 10/100 hubs provide the flexibility to combine the power of 100Mbps Fast Ethernet with legacy network equipment operating at 10Mbps. Each AT-FH800 series hub port can independently detect and match the speed of an attached device. By continually sensing the maximum transmission speed, the hubs can deliver a ten-fold performance improvement when and where it is needed. Up to six AT-FH800 series hubs can be stacked, supporting up to 144 dual-speed ports in a single workgroup.

Series Features and Specifications

AT-FH800 series hubs are available with or without an internal switching module that passes traffic between the 10 and 100Mbps repeater buses at full-duplex speed using the store-and-forward process. Two different switching modules are available; one switch module has no uplink associated with it, the other provides a fiber optic (SC) uplink to extend cable distance up to 2 kilometers using full-duplex speed. When stacked only one hub with a switching module is needed to allow communication between all 10Base-T and 100Base-TX users across the entire stack

When management is required a management module can be installed. A full complement of management is included with SNMP; Web based management and full nine groups of RMON. With the embedded Web server, it is possible to manage the hub stack from any browser-enabled PC, MAC or UNIX machine.

AT-FH800 series hubs also possess an MDI/MDIX uplink port, giving connectivity to an external device such as another hub, without the need for a special cross-over cable.
