The Panasonic AJ-PCD10 is a P2 Card disk drive that can be installed into any PC's 5-inch bay as an internal disk drive. It may also be used as an external drive with a laptop or tower PC that's not equipped with a 5-inch bay. The unit's five PC card slots lets you mount up to five P2 cards at the same time. This is especially convenient for editing a continuous clip recorded by a P2 camcorder in sequence onto multiple cards. High Speed Data Transfers:
The USB 2.0 interface lets you transfer data at high speeds. You can edit directly onto P2 cards with nonlinear editing software. You also get similar fast transfers when uploading files to a server or copying onto a hard drive.
