The Sekonic L-508 Cine Zoom Master 'Cine Version' is the one light meter that
fits every exposure challenge for the professional or dedicated enthusiast. It
is a Zoom Spot Meter, an Incident Meter, a Light Evaluation Meter, and a Flash
Meter safely protected in an All-weather Housing.
The L-508 Cine is identical to the L-508, with several added specialized
features ideally suited to motion picture, video, theatre, stage, museum and
industrial lighting applications.
Special Cine features include:
- complete range of full and half framing speeds from 1 to 1000 f.p.s.
- shutter angle settings from 5? to 270? in 5? increments plus 144? and 172?
- Digital Foot Candle or Lux readout for incident measurement
- Foot Candle or Lux with analog f/stop readout
- Foot Lambert readout for spot measurement
- low range f/stop readout from f/0.5 to f/45 analog, f/0.5 to f/90 digital.
- extended range Auto-illumination readouts at EV 6 and under for 20 seconds
- Measurement and setting Set/Change Dial Lock
Zoom Spot Meter - with 1? to 4? Zoom
The L-508 Cines unique 1? to 4? zoom spot viewfinder can be engaged with
the turn of a switch to select the ideal measuring angle for the subject.
Incident Meter - with Retractable Lumisphere
In addition to spot metering, the the L-508 Cine is a full-function incident
meter, with 270? swivel head and built-in Retractable Incident Lumisphere.
Flash Meter - Spot and Incident
To meet any lighting challenge for still or cine applications, L-508 Cine
measures ambient, cord and cordless flash or a combination reading of both for
daylight/synchro fill-flash - with spot or incident measurement.
All Weather Design
Count on Sekonics legendary accuracy in all weather conditions with the
L-508 Cine?s rugged, sealed, all-weather construction. Ideal for shooting at the
beach or in rainy or humid conditions.
Customized Functions
Select any combination of four special features with the L-508 Cine?s
user-settable DIP switches.

Settings are easy to read with the large digital display. Its unique, cool
blue electro-luminescent background automatically turns on in low light
situations.
